(Dovpo Blotto RTA (Editors Choice
Another collaboration, this time with Youtube Vape reviewer Vaping Bogan. Has to be said it’s a good one at that!
The Dovpo Blotto is all about the airflow and the when you see the build deck you will see what we mean. The deck can handle single or smaller dual coil builds, it performs with both.
The 25mm diameter makes it vape mod friendly even though the spare bubble glass will boost the width further up the tank upto 30mm. Either way, it still looks the business on most devices.
The RTA is simple to build on, is fairly forgiving when it comes to wicking and has an easy top fill.
It’s the flavour and cloud where the Blotto really impresses though.. Bucket loads..

(Geekvape Zeus X RTA (Best RTA For Flavour & Beginners
We are big fans of the Geek Vape Zeus range of tanks ant the latest Zeus X RTAis no different. The Zeus design is superb throughout the range, solid without any over the top branding.
The Zeus X measures in at 25mm in diameter and can accommodate dual and single coil builds. Everything is easier on the latest deck design from wicking to building.
But we are ultimately interested in performance right? Well it’s on the Best RTA list for a reason. The flavour is outstanding and if you like chucking clouds along with it then you won’t be disappointed here either.

(Oumier Bulk RTA (Best RTA For Clouds
The Oumier Bulk RTA was a collaboration between Oumier and the vape reviewer Vap’nFagan.
The name “Bulk” seems quite apt when you realise this RTA is 28mm diameter!
However the size can be a bonus when installing coils and this dual coil deck gives you plenty of room for some beefy coil builds!
Also this can hold up to 5ml of e-liquid but you might find yourself getting through that quickly with some monster coils on the go!.
The airflow as you can expect is pretty beefy too with 3 cyclops airflow inlets that you can adjust and 4 outlets right under the coils on the deck. The result is massive smooth clouds and a lot of flavour too! But do not fret you can also adjust the airflow down to a restricted setting too!
On review the large refill ports located under the screw off top cap were a bonus and even larger e-liquid bottles didn’t cause any issues!

(Ehpro True MTL RTA (Best Overall MTL RTA
OOh I love the Ehpro True MTL RTA – I reviewed it and was staggered by how well it was made and the performance was amazing.
Again this has a similar build deck to the Berserkers and old school MTL RTA’s with a simple 2 post 2 screw clamp design.
I found this really easy to build on despite only being 22mm in diameter. The post design is really clever meaning you can clamp the coils above or below the clamps and it is so easy to get the coil legs aligned.
The airflow is adjustable and there are 5 settings – even in the fully open position this gave a restricted MTL airflow – might may be too tight for some – but perfect for me.
The flavour was incredible and the supplied coils were beautiful. This little RTA is economical on e-liquid and power consumption.

(Squid Industries Peacemaker 25mm RTA (Best Single Coil RTA
The Peacemaker is a single coil 25mm diameter RTA which you have to admit with the 4ml Stainless Steel tank installed is a hard-ass looking bit of kit!
Also you get an 8ml bubble glass option which should keep you going for a while between top ups!
On review the quality was found to be superb and the angled airflow slots on the single coil deck gave out the performance you would expect from a power/liquid-hungry dual coil set up. Of course the airflow is fully adjustable too.
The deck has a ceramic clamp design which is held in position by just one screw – so simple to build with plenty of space.
Even filling this up was a breeze thanks to the large kidney shape fill ports which had no problems with larger e-liquid bottles.

(Vandy Vape BSKR V1.5 MTL (Best Restricted MTL Draw
Following on in the popular Berserker range of MTL rebuildables the V1.5 has had a few tweaks compared to the original. We didn’t get the original in for review however I reviewed the Berserker Mini MTL RTA and it was very impressive!
Strangely for a MTL RTA this has a 24mm diameter – so might not be suitable for smaller mods – but it does give you more space to play with on the build deck!
Talking of the deck this still retains the 2 screw post simple design and it is just a case of getting the single coil central. These are such easy to build decks and remind me of some of the old school MTL RTAs such as the DoggyStyle and Kayfun.
The airflow is where this really shines and this does really give a restricted draw. It is of course adjustable and this time the outlet on the deck is a slot rather than the small hole of the first version.

(Geekvape Ammit MTL (Best 24mm MTL RTA
The Ammit is another 24mm diameter MTL RTA – usually you find the MTL versions tend to be 22mm diameter or less. The larger diameter does mean you will find more space on the deck but you might need a slightly larger mod to accommodate it without overhang.
Another unusual feature is the top airflow inlet – which you don’t often see on MTL designs. Top airflow reduces the chance of having e-liquid leaking from the airflow inlet.
As expected the airflow is adjustable with 12 options to choose from by rotating the airflow ring between slot and hole inlets. On review this airflow worked a treat and went from a restricted DTL vape to a nice tight MTL draw.
The deck is a simple single coil dual post design. Two clamp screws to hold your coil means this is as simple as it gets. Oh and this little RTA can kick out the flavour at a really low power!
Remove the top cap to access the kidney shaped fill holes for an easy top fill.

(Vapefly Brunhilde RTA (Best RTA For Hobbyist Vapers
The design of the Vapefly Brunhilde is a bit retro going back to the days of wire ropes for wicking as the deck is located above the e-liquid chamber – similar to a RDTA.
To get the e-liquid from the chamber the stainless steel wire rope wicks bring the liquid up to deck level. From there you wick as usual with cotton to transfer the e-liquid to the coils. Plus you get everything you need in the kit to get you started including SS wicks, coils and cotton.
The deck is a dual coil design with velocity style posts and there are nice wide clamp holes for some chunkier coil builds. I think experienced builders and those who really enjoy tinkering will find this satisfying to master!
You can adjust the airflow to your preference using the top airflow ring and there is a side refilling port.

(Hellvape Dead Rabbit RTA (Best For Ease of Use
Of course most people into rebuildables will have heard of the Dead Rabbit range – a huge success for Hellvape and the vape reviewer Heathen.
The RTA version was eagerly awaited and seems to follow on in the tradition of the “rabbit ear” style deck.
The Rabbit Ear shaped posts give plenty of room for single or dual coil builds and it is much easier to trim the coil legs down after installation. Plus the side screw clamps make clamping flat coil legs easier without chewing up the metal.
Also on review the size of the post holes was impressive allowing for some more ambitious wires to be installed. In dual coil mode the flavour and smooth vapour was impressive!
Top airflow inlets mean there is less chance of leakage through the airflow and of course you can adjust the airflow to your preference.

So there we have our favourite RTA’s. This top rated list will of course change over time when new and improved products hot the shelves. Or if any of the above atomizers are discontinued.
We have had many emails asking for the best RTA clones. With the quality the big brands are producing along with cheap prices we don’t quite see the attraction of cloned RTA’s. So none of them here
