ان سلك النيكل هو أول سلك قد تم استخدامه في نظام التحكم الحراري TC.
بالنسبة لي شخصياً لدي عدة بكرات من النيكل وقد دار عليهم الزمن ولم استخدمهم، وذلك أساسا لسببين.
أولا، سلك النيكل لين ومن الصعب التعامل معه في صنع كويلات مزدوجة متشابهة, يمكن ان يتلف بسرعه اثناء ادخال القطن.
ثانيا، انه النيكل النقي, ليس لدي حساسية من النيكل، ولكني لا استمتع في التفييب على سلك النيكل.
نعم بعض الأسلاك الأخرى التي أستخدمها تحتوي على عنصر النيكل مثل (الفولاذ المقاوم للصدأ و النيكروم) ولكنه ليس المكون الأساسي.
قد لايزال سلك النيكل يحظى بشعبية كبيرة مع عشاق نظام التحكم الحراري TC , ايضا من السهل العثور عليه في الأسواق المحلية.
ولكن بالنسبة لي، سلك النيكل لا يستحق العناء
